Embarking on its mission to elevate the standards of professional counseling and psychotherapy in Tanzania, the Tanzania Association for Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (TAPCAP) orchestrates impactful Counseling Services Events. These events serve as platforms for knowledge exchange, skill enhancement, and community-building within the realm of mental health. Participants engage in meaningful dialogues, enriching their professional repertoire and contributing to the overarching objective of promoting mental health and well-being across Tanzanian communities.
In sculpting a robust community of professionals, the Tanzania Association for Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (TAPCAP) employs a meticulous approach to membership. The initial tier, Ordinary Membership, beckons those with a minimum of a Diploma in Counselling or related psychological programs, who commit to upholding TAPCAP's vision and mission. Non-Governmental Organizations aligned with TAPCAP's objectives may also attain Ordinary Membership. Associate Membership welcomes individuals or agencies eager to contribute to TAPCAP's goals. Honorary Membership, a distinguished accolade, is bestowed upon those whose exemplary service significantly advances the association, even posthumously—acknowledging monumental contributions without the obligation of fees.
